This game happens in rural Poland around 1960s in the times of Cold War. It contains supernatural elements and isn't a faithful representation of reality of those times.

You arrive in the village of Hubanka where you once lived with your parents. Your cousin greets you warmly and everything seems to be going up in your life. It doesn't last.
